We have an exciting Japanese Art Presentation planned for ALL FOX MILL students in their regular art class with Mrs. Welles this week. This is always a great time to come in and volunteer, PLUS learn about Japanese traditions/culture and interact with the kids. There are people needed to present the slideshow and story, manage the slideshow on the computer (non-speaking role), and extra helpers.

JCC (Japanese Culture Committee) meeting this Wednesday morning. We will be discussing Japanese Art week to be held in February for every child in Fox Mill School. It will be in their regularly scheduled Art class with Mrs. Welles. Hope you can join us!

VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED for WORLD FOOD DAY and November JCC Meeting THIS WEEK! 

Every class in Fox Mill ES with participate in Onigiri Action November 14th and 15th. We are in need of volunteers to cook rice at home that morning and bring into the school for your child’s class, donating supplies, and volunteers are needed to participate during the activity by giving the food to each child, help them make a poster, or take lots of pictures and post them to the website https://usa.tablefor2.org/onigiri-action and possibly your own personal social media page adding #onigiriactionfoxmill. Rice will be given to you ahead of time from your teacher, and then if you could send it in the morning of the activity.

Please come help welcome the Yabe exchange students this week, we have various activities planned and will have lots of fun! No Japanese language skills necessary!
