Thank You for your Support with Onigiri Action Week!

Thank you to all of the teachers, parents, and principals for their work and support of Onigiri Action week at Fox Mill ️ Every student in our school participated for World Food Day and feeding those in need.

Nishiki, who manufactures the rice, donated ALL the rice and seaweed for our entire school! Then we had several volunteers make the rice and bring in other supplies. Then we needed many volunteers to be there during each class to present the project to the students, instruct them on how to make Onigiri, set-up, clean-up, take lots of pictures, and make posters. The pictures go on the Onigiri action website or on our personal social media site #onigiriaction, and every picture posted = 5 school meals will be supplied to kids around the world from Table for Two organization! ️

The teachers at our school were amazing with helping orchestrate all of the division of the supplies and scheduling of this two day event! Thank you for all of your hard work to our wonderful teachers and all of the parents that helped as well!
