VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for our School Wide Onigiri Action Service Project November 14th and 15th to feed those in need please!

Every class in Fox Mill ES with participate in Onigiri Action November 14th and 15th. We are in need of volunteers to cook rice at home that morning and bring into the school for your child’s class, donating supplies, and volunteers are needed to participate during the activity by giving the food to each child, help them make a poster, or take lots of pictures and post them to the website https://usa.tablefor2.org/onigiri-action and possibly your own personal social media page adding #onigiriactionfoxmill. Rice will be given to you ahead of time from your teacher, and then if you could send it in the morning of the activity.

o    World Food Day Campaign 2019 – Change the World with Onigiri

§  By simply posting a photo, you can feed 5 children in need!

§  Partner organizations donate 5 school meals to children in need per photo

§  There are two ways to post photos. You can 1) post a photo on campaign website, or 2) post a photo via social media (Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram) with #OnigiriAction. Or BOTH! Every photo provides another 5 meals to children in need.

§  Thursday, Nov.14:

·         1st grade 9:15 – 10:15 am

·         Kindergarten 12:00 – 1:00 pm

·         5th grade 1:50 – 2:50 pm

§  Friday, Nov. 15:

·         2nd grade 8:50 – 9:50 am

·         6th grade 9:50 – 10:50 am

·         3rd / ID 1:50 – 2:50 pm

·         4th grade 2:20 – 3:20 pm

§  Volunteers needed for each classroom
