Calling All Parents & Guardians, "The Challenge" Needs Your Help!

After receiving lots of feedback over the past few years, PTA has decided to make some changes to the PTA sponsored event-The CHALLENGE. Our hope is to open the event to every FMES student who would like to participate. However, to make this happen, we are going to need volunteers and help. We would like to split the event into 2 nights-one for K-2 and one for 3-6. Doing this will allow us to plan developmentally appropriate activities for all ages and save on spending-as we can hold the event right at Fox Mill. We have secured a coordinator for the 3-6th grade group on Friday, April 4th. We STILL NEED a volunteer to be the chairperson of the K-2 Challenge (date TBD). PLEASE help! As you know, the JCC hosts Japanese Art Week every year to celebrate and share Japanese stories with the entire school.  We've been working hard to collaborate with Mrs. Welles to put on this fun project, but we are still in need of some additional volunteers to make sure that each class of students gets to have a rich experience. Bingo Food Pre-orders open through TODAY, 12/3; Volunteers still needed!

Food pre-orders close today for our third annual Books and Bingo night (bingo board pre-orders are open through 12/5)! Come shop the book fair, have dinner with your friends, enjoy our celebrity teacher callers, and win amazing fun-with teacher prizes!

We need volunteers to make Books and Bingo a successful and fun evening for all!  We know it's hard to give up that time with your children, so we are offering a free bingo board for each adult shift worked!  For student volunteers, we offer service hours, pizza, and soft drinks.  Please see sign-ups here: Adult sign-up Student sign-up

  • Hours:

    • Book fair open after school until 6PM

    • Food truck sales begin at 5pm

    • All pre-order pickups begin at 5:30pm

    • Gym & caf open for bingo activities at 5:30pm

    • Bingo games run 6pm-8pm (with breaks for prizes & admin)

  • Dinner: options will include The Roaming Coyote food truck, Ben & Jerry's ice cream truck, pre-ordered Papa John's, pre-ordered Chick-fil-A, and Papa-John's by-the-slice, as well as some snacks at the event.
