Read MoreWe invite and welcome all parents to our Japanese Cultural Committee (JCC) meetings, generally held the 2nd Thursday of each month from 9:00 am - 10:30 am in our school cafeteria. We are excited to continue the planning process for some of our favorite Japanese cultural events like Japanese Art Week and the Matsuri festival for our students and their families. We have a variety of ways you can volunteer to help plan and facilitate these special events. Our vendor was in a car accident two hours before showtime, and we had to sub in some of our families' home AV equipment to make the movie happen; we are so thankful that spirits remained high and grownups remained patient! Thanks to everyone who came, helped out, enjoyed themselves, and made our FMES community such a special place to be.

Afterwards head to Ben & Jerry’s (11916 Market Street) between 4 PM and 9 PM for a sweet treat and 20% of your sale will go back to support the PTA and school activities!
