Interested in Scouting with the BSA? Come check out Pack 159 on September 17th from 6:30-8:00 PM! We will be hosting a Virtual Join Scouting Night to introduce boys and girls from grades K-5 to our Pack. The kids will have a chance to build a rocket for this year's rocket launch! Parents will have a chance to learn about how the Pack will combine socially distanced events and virtual meetings to make for a memorable year.

Please email Renee Washow at pack159membership@gmail.com if you are interested. She will arrange a time to get you a rocket kit and will send out the Zoom address and password leading into the event.

This week, FCPS (and INOVA) released information on the 2020 Mental Health and Wellness Conference & ACT on Addiction Summit which starts Monday!

There are two lists included. The first is a list of the eleven MH&W Conference/ACT Summit presentations and workshops in case you want to publicize that information separately.

The second list is an events list that includes those presentations with all the other ones occurring for the rest of September. Please read on for more information.

Parents of students in the South Lakes pyramid are invited to Digital Citizenship Night at South Lakes on March 18 from 6-8:15 PM. The event is called Supporting Families in a Digital World: Developing a Healthy Relationship with Technology.

We will be showing a screening of the movie, “LIKE,” and hosting breakout sessions on topics such as Media Balance and the connection between Social-Emotional Learning and digital well-being

Running with the Stars is back for its 9th season this spring!!

For Fox Mill, it is an all-boys running club for grades 3- 6. The boys will train after school to prepare for a 5K run/jog at the end of the program.  This is a non-competitive program where kids strive for their own personal best. The program promotes overall health and fitness
