Safety Patrol

Older students at Fox Mill serve as members of the Safety Patrol, which helps ensure that all students arrive and depart the school safely.

During the winter, the PTA serves hot chocolate to members of the Safety Patrol in the morning if the temperature is 32 degrees or below.

For the 2011-2012 school year, the hot chocolate service will start the week of Nov. 21 (if it is cold enough) and be served through March.

The PTA purchases the hot chocolate but parent volunteers are needed to serve the hot chocolate and clean up. Set up is at 8 a.m. in the cafeteria; all supplies are provided as well as detailed instructions. Siblings are welcome. Schedules are done on a monthly basis so you will know your day well ahead of time and can always switch with someone should you need to.

Click here to e-mail Kerry Diederich and please put Hot Chocolate in the subject line if you would like to volunteer.
