Volunteer Docents
Parents are needed to volunteer as docents in the GRACE Arts program. Once a month, a volunteer docent leads the discussion and works with the students on their individual art projects.
Why join?
It’s a fun way to get involved with your child’s class. The students look forward to seeing the GRACE Arts docents every month.
No art background?
An art background is not required. GRACE provides the posters, artist background information, and project suggestions. The Fox Mill PTA provides the supplies. Informational docent meetings are held each month at the school and your child’s younger siblings are welcome at the meetings.
Not comfortable giving presentations?
Work as a team with another parent volunteer and be an assistant A second pair of hands is always helpful.
